Energy Management

To plan and implement all energy-saving measures we established an energy management system in the fixed net segment in 2008, which focuses on using all energy sources responsibly and sustainably. In July 2009 we were the first company in Austria to be certified according to the new ÖNORM EN 16001 for our energy management system.

Energy aspects are taken into consideration in selecting and purchasing products and systems. Energy-saving technologies, appropriate handling and optimization of energy with the users ensure increased energy efficiency.

Climate-neutral energy is of great importance to us. We have made a contractual commitment to cover a major portion of our energy consumption with climate-neutral electric power. The portion of climate-neutral electricity has been raised continually and currently amounts to 66%. 100% of the headquarters of the fixed net segment and other large buildings in Graz and Salzburg are provided with green electricity.
