We invest in new technologies - for instance our Giganetwork, the most powerful, state-of-the-art fibre optics network in Austria. Another example is AirToFiber, transmitting data in mobile networks at cyberspeed via HSDPA+ to international fibre optics networks and European satellites.

We also develop new, effective strategies for your protection as well as innovative security products - for instance A1 Internet Security. These help us to protect you more effectively from virus attacks than any other provider. This has also been confirmed by the Institute of Information Science and Information Systems at the University of Graz.

As Austria's largest provider we take our responsibility seriously. A1 is the only network operator to be certified according to ISO 27.001. The processes set down in the standard ensure the highest level of data safety at the company. A1 places particular value on risk management in order to minimise faults in IT systems and networks. Besides IT security, other relevant aspects are included, such as employee awareness, building or environmental security.
